Swiftships Delivers Hull P305 to Iraqi Navy

Morgan City, LA: Swiftships Shipbuilders delivered Hull P305, the sixth of 12 vessels, to the Iraqi navy at Um Qasr, Iraq this month. The delivery took place after a short reactivation of the vessel in Bahrain by a team of technicians supplied by both the US Government and Swiftships. The vessels are being built under a Foreign Military Sales contract with the Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, DC and the Government of Iraq. Three more vessels will be completed by the end of the year and delivered to Iraq.
